Some of today's hottest music stars will be rockin' GRAD BASH '09 with live performance all night long. This year's performers will include:

Multi-platinum recording artist Akon will be performing live in concert at Universal Orlando's GRAD BASH event for high school seniors, April 25th, May 1st and May 2nd, 2009.

The Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter will be performing some of the songs that have made him one of the music industry's fastest-rising stars since the release of his solo debut album Trouble in 2004. Akon's unique mix of hip-hop, R&B and rap includes chart-topping hits like Lonely, I Wanna Love You (in collaboration with Snoop Dogg), Don't Matter and the current hit Dangerous (with Kardinal Offishall).

In 2006-2007 Akon had an unprecedented span of hits with eleven songs in the Billboard Hot 100. He's the first artist to accomplish the feat of holding both the number one and two spots simultaneously on the Billboard Hot 100 charts twice. He's also made multiple guest appearances on the popular TV show "American Idol."
